My Family loves a treat for Christmas called Hard Tack. My mom made it every year and we all ate and ate and ate and loved it. I think it is a swedish treat . Mom learned to make it from an older lady when my sister and I were very young. Today is the day that I must make it .. It is an all day project and it isn't exactly my favorite thing to do . But since no one else in the family has taken on the task it is left to me... so I begin.First you sew a new pastry cloth ( I threw out my old one 4 months ago)...the next step is to wash it.. meanwhile baking a batch of cookies.... and we shall see how the day progresses!!!
